So, I'm back again, haven't yet gotten my new card set up - just going with a secured card and a Green Dot now, just waiting on their arrival.

But anyhow, I once again purchased a pack to pay the phone bill and still can't get immediate access to the funds.

Still get "We are experiencing some technical difficulties. Please try again later."

THIS SITE IS NOTHING BUT ONE BIG TECHNICAL DIFFICULTY!

Cannot believe it has been WEEKS and this site is still not fixed. Then it dawned on me -that means they don't consider it broken - apparently this is how they WANT THE SITE TO WORK.

So give it up peps. I don't think there is any hope of it getting better.

Either we load up the money 24 hours before we need it, or we get other cards. I'm going with the other cards and this will be the "I'm-desperate-and-can't-use-any-other-card-or-cash" card!

So, it's not fraud, but it is complete incompetence! You eventually get access to your funds, it's just not instant anymore... it's gone from being the rabbit to being the turtle!

YOU MAY NO LONGER CALL IN AND AUTOMATICALLY LOAD ANY CARD USING THE RELOADIT.COM SERVICE - YOU MUST HAVE INTERNET ACCESS IN ORDER TO LOAD IT!

Gone are the days of quickly and privately loading your prepaid cards. The "quick" safe set-up is NOT quick - it took hours. Was on hold to Customer Service for over 30 mins and never got my call answered before giving up. Eventually the message quit telling me that it was "verifying" my card and let me load the pack - a few hours later.

Today I loaded another pack and the website's excuse is "technical difficulties" for not being able to load the pack to my card. Two hours later and still can't load my card. Won't bother calling again though - that's a total waste of time. Will just wait a few more hours...

SECURITY ISSUE: They are now demanding that you "register" every devise you access your "safe" with in order to load money onto your card - each computer, phone, tablet, etc. by giving it a name, then going to your email to verify it for them - they're recording the internet addresses. So what if you are using your friend's phone or a hotel computer on vacation to load your card?

Basically, it's starting to lean into the invasion of privacy, and get a skanky-scammy feel to it.

And then there is the site itself - apparently they don't know how to build a website. It's bad. If I saw this website first - not having used reloadit before, I'd be afraid!

DO NOT USE CARDS THAT USE THE RELOADIT.COM SYSTEM! I'm going back to Green Dot. It CANNOT be worse!

Reason of review: Bad quality.

Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.

Reloadit Pros: It before the safe.

Reloadit Cons: It after the safe, Customer service hold time, Waiting hours for my money, Register all my devises, Invasion of privacy.

With my experience with the Reload it safe, and many of the same frustrations you have experienced, when you receive the error message when trying to load your prepaid card " were experiencing technical difficulties, please try again later", that is because your card is not part of the network they accept. It took me a long time to figure that out by myself as I never could get any assistance.

If you click on the Q&A then click on which cards participate, you will see there is only maybe 8 that are partnered.So I hope that helps a bit.

My question now to reload it, is why does your system even allow me to add a nonparticipating prepaid card to my safe? It would save people a lot of time and frustration!!

My mom accidentally bought me a a reloadit instead of a netspend card. Have been waiting about 6 hours. Not that I was ever going to use their service, but now I know better!

First and last time using this awful Reloadit ***! I have been waiting a day and a half to be verified.

It's a freaking reload pack! I should be able to load MY money immediately.

With Greendot I can load it onto any card I choose to without going through any of this bs. They need to be shutdown!

Completely agree with everything said here. They will see their customer base drop if this stuff doesn't change. They were much better a year ago.

Agreed, I could not even create account, Reloadit's site kept telling that my passport was not correct then when I went though the drama of changing my password only to receive a issue with changing your password. So I guess these jerks don't want my business I am sure Net Spend or Green will...

I agree, they have made every part of the process completely ridiculous! I called customer service about the 'technical difficulties' when trying to load a card and was informed that from now on when you buy a reloadit pack it will take at least two hours before the funds will be available to you (some sort of b.s.

security feature). Guess I need to find a prepaid card that is not involved with the 'Reloadit Network' and their ***!

I completely agree! They totally screwed everything up!

I'm sure they must have had something bad happen to a customer and that's why they're trying to amp up the security, but it suuuuuuuucks! I went to the store and loaded on a good sum of cash to order a bunny cage for the bunny I'm getting from a family member and thinking everything was going to be simple and quick as usual. But nope! Now, after having already bought a reloadit card, I'm forced to make an account on their new horribly set up site that has no edit buttons (like so we can't delete/edit added debit or credit cards?

Def gonna seem fishy for new users and frustrating for the current!), and then I go to move the money from my pack card to my debit card so I can make my purchase, but... NOPE! Apparently you have to wait for them to verify your card. How long does that take?

Well it sure doesn't tell you anywhere on their website! I called, listened to their new automated message, pressed 4, got put on hold for like 10-15 mins total? (I called twice to try and get through), and then finally reached someone. Sounded like a really nice lady over the phone.

She made sure my account was all in order and then I asked how long I have to wait for my card to verify. I was told that it should only take up to about 2 hours. Well, it's been far past that now and it still hasn't been verified.

I'm super frustrated about all of this and will also likely end up finding another place to go through if, after I'm verified, I have issues with the money taking so many hours too just to get moved over to my debit card. I'd possibly even be tempted to open my first bank account ever if no other prepaid card companies are as quick as reloadit was before the change.
